What is the Battle Ready Local Exchange?

Welcome to the Battle Ready Exchange.  Battle Ready is a student-athlete NIL business registry, custom-designed for businesses, donors, alumni, and any other interested NIL dollars wishing to connect with Wolf Pack student athletes.  Registered businesses can search, filter, and initiate conversations with Wolf Pack student-athletes to discuss potential NIL opportunities. 

NIL GOING FORWARD:

As of July 1, 2021, student-athletes are mow permitted to receive compensation in exchange for their name, image or likeness (NIL) as it relates to commercial activities, including endorsements through social media, appearances, entrepreneurial activities, in-kind deals, autographs and more, in accordance with NCAA guidelines and the University of Nevada NIL policy.

NIL TRANSACTION PROCESS:

Business entities and individuals who have registered through the Battle Ready Exchange will be provided access to profiles of all registered Wolf Pack student athletes.  Profiles will provide contact information where all parties can interact and discuss potential NIL opportunities.  Once a NIL deal is agreed upon, the registered business or individual shall use the Battle Ready platform to create a transaction.  The submission will produce a direct payment to the student-athlete (at no cost additional cost to either party) and will automate a disclosure to the INFLCR Verified Compliance Ledger, thus satisfying Nevada state law obligations.  All transactions within the local exchange are consolidated into one 1099 at the end of the year for more straightforward tax reporting purposes for registered businesses and athletes.
